I’m a gluten free Vegan with Hashimotos... I truly believe diet effects how we feel.
If I consume foods with little nutritional value, I often feel lethargic or downright ill!

Hey JanieL I agree that our diet effects us and the healthier it is the better, so welcome to the forum and thank you as you are in great company for all things healthy eating on here. So I hope that you enjoy being a member as we cater for all diets on here.
Welcome JanieL! Like you, I also have hashimotos and really do notice the difference to my energy levels when my diet isn't abundant in nutrient dense foods.
It's very common for people with hashimotos to suffer from low stomach acid, which can affect the way you draw nutrients from your food. I use digestive enzymes to help encourage stomach acid, and you can also use apple cider vinegar to give it a boost too.
Snap - I am a Gluten Free Vegan with Hashimotos and fibro. Completetly agree food plays a big role in how we feel, focusing on healing the gut. I will be posting up throughout for those interested
