Vegetable crumble pie with ground almond and gram flour topping.

Hi everyone,

Here's what I made for dinner tonight I cooked lots of veg yesterday so I baked this savoury crumble with 75g ground almonds 150g Gram flour 100g organic butter for seasoning I used ginger black pepper with some low salt bouillon and some parsley and baked for about 30 mins at 170C. The gram flour is a lovely yellow colour.

It's also gluten free and much easier to make than GF pastry as its National Baking Week this week. 😊

Just lovely, a great idea to top those savoury veg from yesterday, thanks for the inspiration, I will make this tonight. Did you use Marmite in with the veg,

I remember Marmite cubes a long time ago, they had a very good flavour and I wish they would bring them back.

Hey thanks zube-UK I use a gluten free yeast extract instead of marmite but agree that it adds taste and a nice colour.

That Veg crumble looks really good Jerry I am going to pinch the idea. Looks good and a change to a stew with no topping which I get fed up of having. 😊
