Huge drug bust at Gatwick Airport turns out to be vegan cake mix...😂

It's nice to know that customs are alert and this made me laugh but it makes you realise how careful we have to be at airports with how and what we pack in our luggage.

Alls well that ends well and I love the headline "Customs officers left with plant based egg replacer on their face"

Wow, they were carrying a LOT of cake mix through the Customs, and I can completely see why customs stopped them, to take a look.

I was also stopped by customs one Christmas when I had packed a Christmas pudding in some foil in my suitcase - they wanted to open the case to take a look - it must have looked very suspicious.

Better to be safe than sorry - a friend of mine recently took some 'black bomb cheese' through the airport as well - I can imagine the customs people have quite a few tales to tell.
