Hi Georgie, welcome to group and thank you for introducing yourself. In my opinion you have to change your relationship with food and see it for what is, our fuel. Eating a healthy nutritious diet combined with exercise is a great combination, there's also fasting which can be a very good way to literally reset your hunger clock obviously it's not suitable for everyone. Here's a link to the HU fasting group Fasting and Furious,

Welcome WonderStarGirl! Love your name.
My best hint is start the day with breakfast... l tend to gain weight when l skip it. I am always inspired by the photos of everyone's breakfast. I hope you will enjoy this as much as l do.
If you have access to BBC iPlayer there is a programme called The Truth About Carbs which is definitely worth watching. It explains how just making some tweaks to your current eating can make a huge difference to your weight and your health. You may also want to check out the NHS Weight Loss forum for extra support, full of knowledgeable and supportive people. Good luck!
Wasn’t it amazing how in just 2 weeks those participants had lost weight and had significant blood marker improvements? The changes to their diets didn’t seem to be too painful for them either. Definitely worth a try.
Healthy stir frys, frittatas, scrambled eggs, omelettes and salads take no time at all. When you do have time to cook, batch cook so you have a few meals ready when short of time. Remember some food becomes starch resistant when reheated so a win/win.
