I always have these in my pantry and/or fridge.

I like the sound of the simple banana pancake. I might try that for dessert tonight 🍌

Hi Kaz747
The only one of those staples that I don't have at the moment is the spinach. Might be getting some soon.

I eat a banana most days as I need to keep my potassium and magnesium levels up as I have electrical heart problems. I keep track of my macro nutrients with an app and limit processed foods and added sugar but don’t worry too much about carbs in fruit and veggies. I have lost 18 kilos over the past year and feel great.
Don’t worry- I’m very aware of issues like these. I know there are many TOFIs (thin on the inside, fat on the outside) and skinny does not equal healthy. I have worked closely with my cardiologist, nutritionist, herbalist, pharmacist and GP and have done a lot of research to get my body working better than it has for a long time. Over the past year I have had almost every test under the sun so am confident I’m doing the right thing for me. Everyone is different so I encourage everyone to find what works best for them.
Here’s an BBC article on bananas which confirms low potassium levels can lead to irregular heart rates, hence the recommendation by my health professionals to eat bananas 🍌
