Home made chicken stock from a whole chicken with herbs and vegetables.
Other ingredients are.. a mix of wild rice, lentils, mushroom, celery, carrot and 2 varieties of kale... kale is cooked separately and added to soup when finished.
I have been cooking this recipe for over 50 years, but with spinach or swiss chard..my mum would cook the same but not with chicken.
Really lovely dish and I enjoyed it very much.
