Such things may not seem high on the agenda for your children but research on postmortems of children killed in car accidents show that by the age of 16 most of them already had the early signs of atherosclerosis. As with cancer, turning atherosclerosis into heart attacks, strokes, dementia will may take many years, but it is food habits we grow up with that are the primary contributors.
