Chayote and green beans
Hi G1nny
Wow, that looks lovely - glad you enjoyed it. Your meal looks extremely appetising.

Hi Ginny, extra chilli sounds like a good tip to me and this looks really tasty to me. 😊
Everyone here liked it, and I have some really picky eaters. I put green chilies, hatch chilies, a small jalapeño along with tons of garlic olive oil and onions.
So basically you made a garlic salsa with a little chayote
That does sound like a sensible way to use it - bulking out a sauce with a lot of punch. Did you try tasting a piece without the sauce?
I had to google Hatch chilis. I'm going to have a look for some seeds online later!
Yes I did taste it . Was very tasteless. I used a can of chopped green chilies and a small jalapeño. Hatch chilies big and are mild but flavorful. This time of year here is hatch chili pepper season, they are in everything! If you hadn’t said something to me I’m sure no one would have eaten it. Garlic, like 6 cloves!
