Hi guys, I found this website fresholiveoilshop but before buying I would like to know if it is reliable?

Look for first pressed/extra virgin oil, which should be labelled as such.

Second & subsequent pressings tend to use heat which degrades the oils, or even chemical extraction methods that render the oils unhealthy. I avoid the likes of corn, sunflower, & generic vegetable oils as they can have an inflammatory effect on the body.

Check what you're buying is suitable for your intended use. EV Olive oil & butter are fine for sauteeing at lower temperature but shouldn't be over heated for frying. Rice bran & coconut oils have a higher flash point.

We use only California Olive Ranch Olive Oil for everything. We don't deep fry so that is not an issue. We even use it for pop corn it is the only oil in the house. California Olive Ranch is certified EVOO and really the only one we have found we can trust. They have several varieties and all are excellent.
