Hi Hwhite ,
Welcome to the Healthy Eating forum. I hope you'll enjoy being part of this Community. The NHS Choices Healthy Eating pages (which this forum is linked to) are interesting, and you can find them here:

Hope to see you around and about. Have a great week.

Sometimes changing what we eat, eg, for more healthy options, can reduce the need to eat less. I like to fill up on healthy veg & lentil soups & stews in winter & salads in summer.
I stick to restrictive eating times most days which allows me to eat more: late brunch, early supper, & plenty of water inbetween. Some people prefer restricting calories on two non-consecutive days a week, known as the 5:2 diet.
Making sure your gut health from a healthy high fibre diet helps our bodies work better. It’s important to avoid toxic processed & artificial products like margarine & sweeteners. Also having the right nutrients needed to use the calories we eat.
Please ask if any of that doesn’t make sense.
