Need a good source of protein? I like to eat Korean BBQ Style Beef (Bulgogi). Here is the recipe.
Korean BBQ Style Beef (Bulgogi)
Ingredients:
-Rib Eye Steak (or your choice of meat)
-1/2 White or Yellow Onion
-3 cloves of Garlic
-1 tsp Pepper
-3 tbsp. Sesame Oil
-1/2 Pear (or Korean Pear)
-1 Green Onion
-Brown Sugar (or Regular Sugar if you don't have Brown Sugar)
-Low Sodium Soy Cause
You can adjust ingredients according to taste
1. Cut up steak into thin strips
2. Add onion, garlic, pepper, sesame oil, pear, green onion, brown sugar, and soy sauce into blender
3. Pour sauce on meat
4. Add 1/2 thinly sliced onion
5. Mix
6. Cover with plastic wrap and let it marinate and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or more (the longer it sits in the refrigerator the better the taste)
7. Cook in a pan with a little bit of Vegetable oil (or olive oil)
8. Cook until meat is done
9. Add green onions and sesame seeds (optional)
Enjoy with rice or rice paper or Korean side dishes of your liking
