Good morning I just stared drinking raw cinnamon tea with 2 tablespoons of honey. Are the raw sticks better? For lowering cholesterol?

Hi GerardoAmezolaJr ,

I don't know the answer to your query, but I just wanted to welcome you to the Healthy Eating forum. I can imagine that Cinnamon tea tastes good.

I sprinkle Cinnamon on my porridge in the mornings, and enjoy the flavour.

Zest :-)

Just make sure you are using Ceylon cinnamon. That is the kind that is beneficial to your health the other… Not so much in fact high doses of the other kinds can actually be harmful.

Hello GerardoAmezolaJr

Just ignore the cholesterol bogey

Instead focus on having good home cooked foods the traditional foods

This will set the system right

Avoid packaged stuff

Shashikantiyengar is right. I'd also suggest asking yourself what is causing the cholesterol. You need to drill down to the cause. It's a bit like parking a car under a tree and fine sap drips on the car windscreen. You might clean it every day (medication) or cover the screen (surgery) without thinking that the cause is something else. The spot where you park the car is the root cause :-) .
