Me too, Apolo Lore , mine started when i was about ,63 years of age ,i am now 78 yrs of age , it has been devastating for me- first sign i noticed was how my hair receded from in front of my ears ,then from my forehead and continued to the centre of my head , ,i saw my doctor who told me i had male pattern baldness , and not muchcould be done about it- i was shattered ,having been so proud all my adult life of my thick hair, i bought variuos pills-tablets advertised costing a small fortune to no avail, ,in the end i resorted to wearing wigs- not cheap, but the only solution ,that or looking and feeling really bad ,. i hope you have better luck, maybe younger than myself you will get help ,i still try to make the best of myself-wearing make up- ect , good luck, Gill, .
Hello Charlie 1930. Me too I have thick hair.like you. It is devastating When I comb my hair every morning lots of hair came out so I have been keeping them with the idea of making a wig. I eat well and takes vitamins 50 + still nothing. I will try not to let it get to me. Thank you
Have you had any of your hormones tested? Having hypothyroidism can affect the hair in a negative way, so can oestrogen/progesterone balance.
Anemia can affect hair too, get your GP to test your iron/ferritin levels.
