I drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day... Sometimes more. Herb teas are good too. You'll find drinking water helps you lose weight and is a great appetite suppressant. Also lots of salads are so good for you and fill you up. I put hard boiled egg or chicken Breast on mine. Always have veggies cut and ready to eat. I've lost 16 pounds since January. I make lots of smoothies as a meal replacement... Vega protein powder with low fat sheep yogurt and coconut milk with frozen fruit. Soooo yummy! I don't use any dairy products. I also don't eat gluten. Feel really good right now. Better then before I was diagnosed with emphysema/COPD
I read somewhere that the recommendation of 6-8 glasses is based on not much. And that drinking to much can make you hungry? And it's fine to just drink when you need to...
I would suggested a better measure is the colour of your urine , if t's light then you should be fine.
