Dried fig addiction

I think they're delicious and I love 'em!  But I'm trying to control my intake because 30g - that's two soft dried figs (not the fresh variety) contain 75 calories.

As well as enjoying them as a tasty treat they help to keep me 'regular' :o)

So I'm planning on having just two per day instead of my usual five or six as I'm trying to keep my weight steady and not creep upwards.

I've eaten fresh figs in the past but they tend to make my lips 'burn'.  Has anyone else come across this?  And am I alone in my fig addiction?

I am with you there - try the Lidl mixed soft fruit pack which has figs in it too, they are lovely for sweet and more healthy snack.
