2015 Happy New Year:

What's Your Vision? Goal?

I got the idea from my employer as we do this every year. We set goals for our selves and post them in the staff lounge. I decided to apply this in all main areas of my life: marriage, family, personal & professional.

Great idea, JNc1. What a creative vision board! I love it! :)

I am studying Michele's book, "Life After Trauma" and also her "Identity Roadmap Workbook."

One of my goals this year is to study these resources 1/2 hour a day, 5 times a week, and apply what I learn to creating a happy life for myself and my loved ones.

Another goal is to continue the "20 Stress Reduction Practices" Michele writes about in her book, every day, at least once, for the entire year.

Creating a "Vision" is very important. As another goal, I will write my vision - and get over my shyness by posting it here! :)

Love this! I plan on staying in a beach town in a couple of weeks and writing my book...if it never gets published, it will at least be therapeutic. I plan on going on an Alaska mission trip with my teenage son during Spring Break. We will be in Nome for the finish line of the Iditarod race. I am also going to look for ways to give back to others. Focussing on being a better listener and more compassionate person.

I just ordered Michele's book and I'm excited to read it!

What a neat idea and great that a work place supports that. My visions are to make more music, take a lot of wildlife/bird pics, spend time with my husband and 4 cats, see more of my friends, and define new career goals! My additional focus will be health related goals. Like daily yoga, meditation, and cardio to help decrease my anxiety.

I think that is good idea with the board. All i want is just to get better and to not give up on getting better. And to not go back to just trying to forget just to keep working at it and get back to work. Just to find myself again and if not create the new me and move forward. Best Wishes Poohbear'

I plan on gaining healing knowledge on my health issues. I plan on working with a hypnotist, which I am really excited about. I have problems with chronic pain do to trauma and I plan to except this for what it is and to do my best to work with it by utilizing Yoga and meditation. I also plan to expand on my spirituality it helps me to stay positive. I hope you have a great year and I am glad you are here with me.
