Not alone

I don't blog very often but I just want to say that when I come on to this site I feel as if I am not alone.

So many people dealing with difficult life issues and prepared to share and support others.

i get the same feelings too, i sometimes i think i am the only one with certain problems, then someone mentions the same thing and i feel relieved

Hi Sandra. Yes, It's so reassuring being able to log on to Headway whenever I like,day or night, to remind myself that I am surrounded by people who understand and care about one another. This is an opportunity to say "Thank you" to Headway and all the members.

sandra indeed your perception is correct lots of peopk eith suffers such as myself and families of vctimks use this site to ask for advice pose a question worries and concerns or ust vent frustrations i for one do try to answer as candidly an honestly as i can t encourage sympathise as i feel able to from my own experience which 6 years since my injury the concerns never end as does a recovery i am beginning to fell tha there is not a finallty to recovery all responses are monitored by headway profeeionals having ben rebuked once myself its not big brother but a monitor watchingif all entries are appropriate and helpful on this one occassion i was not being helpful infact if the entry hadbeen allowed to stay it could have been detrimental headway were quite right to remove my entry and rebuke me

I agree, although sometimes i cant seem to put into words what i want to say so i dont leave a comment always. Its good to know that someone really does understand and can offer a shoulder or advice to see you thru a rough patch as well as celebrating the good stuff.

It makes life a lot less lonely.

Been a god send! people going through the same ordeals, the advice, the support. Just wish i had found it twelve months ago.
