menopause brought on by my heamorrhage ?

i just wondered if any female sufferers have same problem i have been borderline menopausal for a few yrs but since my injury my periods have stopped completely ( no worries there !) but it also made me gain a lot of weight and the hot flushes came with a vengance just wondered if anyone else hade same effects.

I get hot flushes since my head injury 2 years ago, it's not menopause as I had hysterctomy / ovaries removed a long time ago but they feel the same as the hot flushes I got back then wjen I was put in instant menopause! I too have gained a lot of weight but put that down to reduced mobility even though I have a poor appetite

My periods stopped for a while after my first brain op but they are now back to normal, no hot flushes but weight gain which I put down to me doing less and eating more

Hi , I had a SAH January this year havent had a period since, but I do get very hot surgeon confirmed this week it's my age 54 nothing to do with SAH????

hmm one wonders ! i see my surgeon in december but in the mean time i see a specialist who is doing some reserch into all possible side effects i`ll let you know how i get on x

I have problems with temperature regulation, shopping centres leave me dripping with wet hair & forehead, I've had my hormone profile done twice & everything is ok (not even perimenopausal yet). I think some people do find temperature more haywire post sah but I don't think its a documented side effect.
