menopause brought on by my heamorrhage ? - Headway
menopause brought on by my heamorrhage ?
I get hot flushes since my head injury 2 years ago, it's not menopause as I had hysterctomy / ovaries removed a long time ago but they feel the same as the hot flushes I got back then wjen I was put in instant menopause! I too have gained a lot of weight but put that down to reduced mobility even though I have a poor appetite
My periods stopped for a while after my first brain op but they are now back to normal, no hot flushes but weight gain which I put down to me doing less and eating more
Hi, Had SAH a year ago, havent had a period for 6 months, but no other symptoms as yet

Welcome to the club.....So good to know I am not alone.
I have problems with temperature regulation, shopping centres leave me dripping with wet hair & forehead, I've had my hormone profile done twice & everything is ok (not even perimenopausal yet). I think some people do find temperature more haywire post sah but I don't think its a documented side effect.
