Hi Garbygirl, like you I too had a SAH, in 2017, it did not result in weakness at the time, apart from memory word finding, I had penguins in my garden, I live near Manchester, lol, balance was poor, I thought I was walking ok, but people said I was drifting, I struggled for a while even went back to work, eventually, persuaded to use a stick which did help my drifting and balance, I don’t use inside but if I go outside shopping etc I think tiredness has a lot to do with it. I still have head pains, my aneurysm is very unpredictable and has grown so big to press on my brain stem then a blood clot has shrunk it to where I am today, although holding my breath awaiting my scan results at present. Tomorrow is my eight year anniversary day of my bleed and survival. I don’t have a shunt, I have coils and stents, I take Tipimirate and paracetamol for the headaches, they do keep it manageable, take care love Alice xx
