The worst?

Talking the other day about daughter’s broken femur, slow to heal after a year. “Broken femur? Definitely the worst!” Nope. Broken femur, ankle, neck, right arm amputation, soft tissue injuries, tbi. Definitely tbi is worst: so many issues and problems, often not obvious. You need real strength of character to get through it all.

I raise a glass to all of you still kicking ass after years of it. You’ve probably been told not to drink alcohol so do it using your low alcohol fizz. :) Just keep on keeping on! I find you all inspiring!

I have an ABI and it’s on par with a TBI.I Have no visible signs to indicate that I have an ABI. I have had various undesirable comments from people who know me.Im sick and tired of trying to explain,I should not have to explain myself to anyone.

Thank you for your comments. For some of us the brain injury doesn't show so we battle the too. It also brings lots of changes do I will go with your idea and say brain injury trumps femur. Hope your daughter heals soon too.

Your words are thoughtful and generous m'love, especially coming from someone whose daughter (& self) have known the roughest of times.

I truly hope there are better days ahead for you both.

All best wishes, Cat x 💐
