Hi, came across these on YouTube, I did similar exercises myself during my recovery from PCS and they helped me.

Useful ! I used some optokinetics videos too which seemed to help a lot. Have you looked at them at all?

I'm aware of putting together vestibular and eye exercises with cervical spine movements. In combination they can restore a lot of the functions in the cervical/ vestibular/ ocular reflex. This seems to be one of the major issues after a TBI and whiplash injuries. It all worked for me, though it does not solve everything and continuing to go the exercises are essential for long term relief. I still do mine a couple of times a week.

Thanks for these. It's given me some ideas to try with my husband. Although initially be could only look up and down, over the last year he is clearly tracking me a bit more as I move about his room. I can tell him to signal that he wants to stop by closing his eyes, so I need not cause discomfort.

Hi Silkwood, please let us know how he gets on. A friend of mine is a physio in the local stroke unit and we had a chat about exercises for stroke and TBI, he says they are the same exercises. He gives people exercise routines to do at home but he says after a few days or weeks they give up the exercises and don't recover. He says people expect miracles in a short period of time when what is needed is months of exercising and building up multiple routines to work with together.

There are tons of examples for exercising on YouTube, you just got to look and put together your own routines.

I've started a YouTube channel for mTBI and Post Concussion rehab routines (I went to uni during my recovery period (to enhance my cognitive ability) and got qualified to teach routines). Here's a link there may be something of interest because stroke and TBI have many of the same symptoms.

Thanks, PV.

I'll give them a try when I have a window of time where if they mess me up a bit I can allow for that.
