Morning team! So, do any of you fantastic folk live near the horse capital of Newmarket, Suffolk? There's a new Headway support group starting here today. I'm very pleased it's happened and will be going along. But it would be amazing to meet some forum folk too. 😁

I grew up in Newmarket and a family member volunteers for injured jockeys. Not local anymore but really good that's happening.

I'm in Cambs.... but could pop over the border sometime.

Hi Moo! I'm in Cambs too, but right on the Suffolk border so I sneak across all the time. The hub is new so will apparently take some time to get going. It's on again next week, and Fridays going forward. It would be amazing to see you there.

Do you know if the Newmarket group will be weekly or otherwise?

I would try to get there at some point.

It’s a daytime thing ?

That sounds good

At the moment they're aiming for weekly. It's still in setup phase so nothing is definite yet. Last week there was only me and one other person who unfortunately wasn't very verbal. The two Headway people and his carer had a great chat. And the biscuits were good. But I wish there had been a BI person to talk to. Or a whole wedge of us, even better!
