Any headway meetings in or near Bridlington?

Moved to Bridlington in July and wondered if there was any headway nearby. I'm mainly wanting to meet people nearby to get to know people and something to do. I've heard there's coffee mornings in hull but I don't know hull and not that comfortable starting conversations with strangers so would be sat hoping someone would talk.

If you go onto the Headway website you can find out where the nearest group is to you.

Morning Keeley. There is a lovely Stroke Club in Driffield, which is near Bridlington. My husband used to go there once a week before we moved, and they were a very friendly and welcoming group. Not sure if that is what you would be looking for, but highly recommended.

Hi Keeley,

Unfortunately the Headway website is only showing 2 meeting centres for the Hull/East Riding area.

Maybe give them a call to confirm ?

Thanks for replies it does seem to be just coffee mornings which would be fine if I knew anyone going, but seems bit far to go to sit hoping someone mite talk. Is anyone here near Bridlington?

Hi Keeley,

there is a group in Scarborough. If you can ring the Headway helpline they will give you the details. I'm in your area but can't get to any meetings at the moment because my partner has a lot of physical difficulties . Hope this helps :) x
