Embracing my New Voice

My counselling session went well today Katherine said she thought I was Hungarian. I have has Polish ,French, German so now Hungarian.

My counsellor Dr Katherine said the old voice is gone and my new voice is the new me. It will take me a long time to embrace it but I must, as he has caused this by his violence so I cannot let him win by getting me so down. Shelly only knows my foreign accent voice and she loves me just as I am.

The C.P.S has still not confirmed yet if they are going to prosecute him so it’s 18 months of waiting and wondering what will they decide.to do. So I wait and all I want is justice and fairness.

Someone I knew at headway had been a big cockney Sargent major in the army pre injury, he wasn't impressed with speaking with a broad German accent after 🤭

Thanks It made me laugh to think of him speaking in a German accent. Having Foreign Accent Syndrome has been up to now horrid but as my old voice is gone for good I need to embrace my new vocabulary. The new me.Love Liz and Shelly x🐾🌹

What a strange but fascinating syndrome this is Liz (well.....'fascinating' for those who don't have to live with it !) You've been such a trouper throughout your difficulties m'love. I hope the CPS brings matters to the courts before much longer and that it'll bring justice for you, and peace at last....
