Hi everyone just a update on my situation.I am having speech therapy but my voice is still the same although my son Mark has said it sounds stronger. People think I am a foreign learning English πSince I write to you last time I was crossing the road and a car came up so quickly that I pushed Shelly onto the grass verge and as I was attempt to do the same my ankle turned and I fell onto the road smashingly my head. I was shouting help me and trying to keep Shelly safe suddenly threee men stopped there cars and one was a paramedic and the other was a medic and the third helped me with Shelly. My three heroes, they called an ambulance and I was taken to hospital with nasty cuts on my forehead. I had a scan and nothing more than stitches and concussion.
It s taking me time to get over the accident but I have been told by Mark never to cross this dangerous road it is a bridle path the council will not put signs up as it cost money. Take care one and please keep safe love Liz xππΉ

Oh you poor love ! But hearing of those three guardian angels coming to your rescue really boosts my faith in human nature.
So glad you had help at such a scary time Liz (it's touching that little Shelley was your priority). And how thoughtful of your son to find you such a delightful companion.
Hope you'll escape your accident without lasting issues - and good luck with your ongoing speech therapy.
Hi Cat, thanks for your reply ever since I have returned home the help I have received is amazing from the Police to the abuse team , my doctor and my three heroes. But it is my son Mark and Emma who encourage me each day. My Shelly she has made me feel so much better and itβs her companionship which I love. Love Liz xxπΉπ
I'd listen to Mark about the voice, often you don't hear your own voice as others do. And I'd agree with avoiding dangerous roads, I still have trouble with crossing roads.
A friend I know who was a guards Sargent major, awoke from a coma with an africanse accent, he hasn't got a clue how that happened π
Thank you for your reply gosh an African accent is he back to normal now?It is true about listening to Mark and others about my voice my speech therapist said to me what was I expecting to get from 1 to Ten and I said 10 but she said I have to be a realist so I picked 8. Love Liz xπΉπ
No Liz, he still sounds like he is a SA. Every step forward is a ten when you are recovering. You had a good 18 years to find your voice as you grew up, as you get stronger your voice will get stronger.
Just don't play with the traffic, you don't need the hassle. X
Dr told me to try the dog food diet, I thought he was barking, but gave it a go. It was going so well, weight just dropping off.
Then it all went pear shaped! I was crossing the road, and had the urge to scratch my ear, didn't see the car coming as I scratched my ear with my hind leg. Boom boom! πX
Oh bless you Liz! Gosh glad you got away with cuts and concussion darling β€οΈ I love your 3 Heroes! You were very blessed to have them! I have a hero at work in our Restaurant kitchen, sadly my Hero Chef is leaving in 5 weeks! Will miss him! But he needs more time for his 7 year old daughter, and will do less hours in future! It's tough being a Chef!
I am a Kitchen Porter and it has been mega busy in May πΊ
Thanks for taking the time to reply to me that was so kind and thoughtful of you Especially as you are so busy at work. Itβs good to hear that restaurant are busy. What I have learned since Christmas when I was in need and still am is the kindness of people as some people do say, people walk pass you or donβt care. I have found that people DO care and itβs so heartwarming. Please take care and keep safe Love Liz xxππΉ
I will Liz, thank you darling π Christiane β€οΈ Just get better again and recover! And no busy road crossing again Liz, right πππ₯°ππ»πππππ»
