I replied last night ! But I remember my daughter phoned just as I finished typing...

...must've forgotten to send. 😯

I was saying how I used to walk to & from work daily in stilettos (6 miles total) without a second thought, and play badminton afterwards. I can only walk a mile to the shops & back since the Bi before 'hobbling'.

So I'm really envious and would enjoy nothing more than a day walking the Derbyshire peaks. (Almost perished years ago though, when high wind & sudden hailstorm struck and couldn't find the road !)

Just Googled it. What a heavenly part of the country you live in. Some of the scenes gave me a physical pang ! And house prices are amazing ; I could afford a beautiful, large detached in an idyllic setting from the sale of my terraced property ! 😲

………….maybe in my next life. 😏 x
