The headaches could be stress related - with all that's going on around us at the moment and all the worry about how it will affect everyone's health, I think many of us have headaches. Try some relaxation and see if it helps.

I'm hoping that is all it is and not a sign of another bleed I had 4 months ago

Beany43, Can you call one of your doctors? While it may certainly be stress, such intense and increasing symptoms involving your left arm could also be something that needs immediate treatment. Nobody wants to go into medical facilities right now if not necessary but you certainly do not want to delay at least calling just in case.

All the best to you.

Hi,

I used to have a terrible diet which consisted of many sugars, fizzy drinks and hardly any fruit or veg (REAL food).

From 96 -2000 I had a run of operations on my head due to 2 brain tumours.

I would not be surprised if my terrible diet is main reason for my brain tumours. I know not many agree with that.

Anyway, I used to get frequent headaches and this was while I was still eating a crap diet.

As I grew older, I slowly came away from all the sugar intake and now I eat much more fruit and veg and a lot less sugar and little meat as well.

I am officially a flexitarian... in other words I am a rubbish vegan and I feel so much better for the change to.

I hardly get headaches now :).

Do you eat fruit and veg?

I get Moringa extract powder from Holland & Barrett (you can get some anywhere online too).

The Moringa powder is the leaves of the moringa tree.

It clearly says on the packet that it helps reduce fatigue, a symptom most people with a BI gets.

Do you get fatigued as well?

I used to get fatigued but not so much now, my diet of fruit and veg helps :).

I know what I just mentioned was referring to fatigue and not headaches but I do think the headaches could subside in time on a healthier diet... depending really on how damaged and what part of the brain is damaged I suppose. Not everyone is the same.

i have been trying the high fibre low sugar meat free diet for ages and found its given me a sensitive gut which means i now try to avoid gluten and dairy but perhaps dont drink enough water and what/whichever specialist u can get your gp to refer you to they will only have knowledge of that one specific area and not r enough general knowledge about the other contributing factors and easily get sugar withdrawal symptoms when out and about making me binge.

Hi, contact your GP any changes in your recovery should be seen or treated. It may be nothing to worry about it is so easy to assume that every ailment is associated to your injury which is not always the case. A chat with your GP may ease your stress.

My GP said I shouldn't worry but he don't seem really interested

My GP has been really supportive since my injury, given some of the comments on here about GPs maybe I am one of the lucky ones, but our first port of call should be our GP surgery and if symptoms persist and we feel we are not being listened to then we can ask to see another doctor for a second opinion .

We all know the symptoms to a common cold or a virus but we don't know what it's like to have a head injury until it happens and we don't all react the same to a head injury because they are so complex and this is why we need the support of others including our GPs. Regards

Oh dear, not much help there then. I think if your symptoms persist or get worse then you could call the non emergency number 111. In the meantime drink plenty of water and take pain killers for the headaches and try to stay as mobile and active as possible. Good luck

Dear Beany43,

I'm NOT an 'expert' but I, Whole-Heartedly agree, with Everyone above. This whole, Corona Virus Episode, is Stressing us ALL. Small wonder, that you, are 'Suffering'....we ALL are!

I'm getting more 'Toilet' pains, and am Wetting both Myself- and the Bed- more. I am 'Restless', far more than I would Normally expect. We are all, very much, in Uncharted Territory. Am I getting Headaches, well yes I am...along with Tummy, Leg, Arm, Chest.... YES Aches!

I am, very much, in the Vulnerable Group I have ANCA Vasculitis, controlled by Immuno- Suppressant Drugs. I also had a Kidney Transplant, back in July 2013, which also requires Immune Suppression- though a Mixture/ Cocktail, of Drugs, CAN do Both.

Still let me, give you, some 'Old Fashioned Advice', from say TWO Months ago! Drink plenty, stay warm- the Weather is 'on the change'- contact your Doctors / Consultants if 'Things' don't improve.

I know we all, wish you well Beany43, take care of yourself
