Hi all,

Has anyone else on sertaline noticed weightloss and under/over sleeping? As I have a the sleeping issues is effecting work and as I keep missing my alarm (I under slept for a month now I'm over sleeping) my manager thinks it's my alarm and has suggested getting a manual one and has given me advice (laughable) like not using electronic devices, making sure I have a sleep routine, and /or changing my working pattern (which I don't want to do) I am still waiting on my appointment letter for my follow up to come though combined with the shortage of first bus drivers and packed buses adding to my turning up late again he has suggested I get a bike and I said the reason why I get the bus is because this time of year I suffer with viral phumonia and have a volumatic to combat it and he didn't really care for first driver shortage sometime this week I will need to call biru and ask how long I have to wait for my appointment letter to come though

I'm just scared that he may use this as dissmal evidence again even though I am staying late and making sure my hours are worked despite having Flexi

I've also been lucid dreaming and having nightmares

I'm waking up really stressed that I've over slept and it's never been like me as ever since I days of school I've had good attendance and I'm never in a good mood

Update:

So I have just called BIRU to find out how long I will be waiting for my follow up to report the issues and I got told that the Neuropsychiatric I saw has now retired and they are unable to run the clinic until they get a replacement and they don't know how long that will take .....

Hi Bexx87. I got not problems with sertaline. Maybe the stress of your work. My brain don't work when I have stressed. X

Hello Bexx - When I saw your post, I immediately thought of a dangerous drug I had been prescribed, years ago, called Gabapentin - which was prescribed for leg and foot pain, but was actually meant for epileptic seizures !! I never felt one bit at peace with taking it, as I would pass out a short while after taking a dose, which seemed scary and unnatural, and I finally disposed of it completely. Turns out many people have written derogatory comments concerning this modern day poison. Doctors make a good percentage of their money through the drugs they prescribe, and MANY do not care one iota what becomes of their patients due to these drugs, which is a vexing thought. I looked up Setraline a few minutes ago, and was shocked over the 67, yes !! SIXTY SEVEN disclaimers due to this dangerous drug ! please find an alternative to it, it is definitely not in your best interest to be putting this into your body !!
