I just wanted to say thank you, i wrote a post a while ago and someone suggested contacting Headway on the phone. For a little extra support well I bit the bullet yesterday and I called. Spoke to a lovely lady (can't remember her name) she has organised for someone to call me regarding Futher help locally to me. For the first time in a long time I slept peacefully and feel so much more positive than I was. So thank you all for your kind words, support and love you all show 🤗

We have all been where you are and know what it is like. Hope it all goes well from now on.
Thank you for your reply, onwards and upwards xx
Hiya Kitten
Sooo glad your getting some support. Think it was me who suggested. Selling Headway as this is what they suggested to me to assist with my dilemma of overwhelming anxiety.
They put me in touch with a fantastic lady who works in The Walton Centre Liverpool as well as other hospitals in my region as a support worker .
She really did change things around for me and felt like I’ve made a great friend.
I’ve had my op now and all good🤗👍🏻Good luck with finding your own little angel👍🏻😇xxx
Good to know things are looking more hopeful Caroline........... Cat x

Hi kitten I had a tbi in january and life is very different, this site has helped me loads, what side effects are the worst for you and have you family support? I have good days and bad days, the bad are bad but the good are good and I'm learning to cope day by day. Baby steps, but a step forwardbis a step forward. Don't feel you've failedbif you have a bad day, a good one is around the corner. Any way I can help let me know, love and support xx
Thank you for you reply, at the moment the worst thing is the pain. I really hope after the op the pain will ease a little. Ihave my other half and housemate, a few friends who understand and my Dad. Who's lucky enough to live abroad so it's via video chat most days. Always feel so much better staying at his but it's not possible to live there. Thanks again
I send you love and strength and would love to know where your dad lives xxx I hope it's warm my friend x
Thank you sending you all the same too. He lives in Thailand, been there more or less since the day he retired 6 years ago. It's such a relaxing way to live, he's away from the tourist areas. For a long time he was the only white skinned person in the village, the Thais would stroke his arms for luck. The hottest I felt was 46°c but it's not always like that 😎
