Can you tell us a bit more about how your brain injury came about ; Has it resulted from an illness, such as stroke, or from a traumatic injury ?
Given my memory has been out of wack since high school I don't actually know, I do know have sustained at least 4 head injuries since high school though which have made my condition worse, ultimately going to the doctors repeatedly about it until they finally sent me to a neurophsycologist (only took me 8 years) and she after all the testing diagnosed me with the executive dysfunction.
This is something many here suffer from since either an acquired brain injury (stroke, tumour bleed etc.) or a traumatic one (blow to the head).
My injury was caused by a Subarachnoid haemorrhage (frontal lobe) which left me with various after effects including executive dysfunction but which, with 6 years of brain training (jigsaws, crosswords, word and memory games etc., has improved to the point of good days and bad days..........rather than all bad !
