I dont know if anyone is aware but Aardman (who had done chicken run, arrrr pirates, shaun the sheep (headway memory lost special feature), Im forgetting Morph ect and of course good old Wallace and gromit) in the past 2/3 years have done trails other cities have done them we did a gorilla and shaun trail as well as gromit, devon did a rhino trail, southhampton did a zebra trail, bath did a cat trail anyway the reason why we do it is to raise money for the children hospital call the Grand Appeal (I have at least 6 mini figurines that I brought either online or from their shop in one of our shopping centres) and I went there went it first opened in 2001 (even shocked one of the head people who was involved in KHINE that I remember) So if you want something to do with kids and snap some photos it will sooon be time and I am soooo looking forward to it

I enjoy reading about Brunel and his legacy! Some truly amazing constructions for the time but some absolute flops.

Love history especially local always have.

haha no that got bull dozed years ago they are now building flats I do remember going to karaoke and playing pool on a sunday there

when i was younger (like teenager) I was epic at it now now that much as I cant rememeber the last time i played, I also dont know if that post will edited or half this thread deleted as it says my street name .....

There are new data protection laws out (GDPR) I had to read the advance section as I work in IT and as I was bored I decided to read up on PIP (I needed to kill time)

in the tobacco factory they have a new cider call North St Cider (bristolbeerfactory.co.uk/ne... (I love stowford and somersby, I asked if it was named after the st and they said no I would love to do a tour around their cider farm

People around here have their own orchards and make a lot of cider.

I prefer stowford to ashton press, its still good I did go a cider farm in street, This may horrify you but I dont like Thatchers or Black Thorn and I knew someone who ran their own cider farm in Cheddar

I dont like the bottled version I do have a cider pint glass as my mum use to work as a bar maid in pubs so we have lot, also free t-shirts and pub maps so I can pull a pint as well and not have a head on and tut anyone that gives me froth and threat to jump over and pull it myself and show them how its done, I cant walk into a pub in bedminster with out someone recognizing me thanks to my mum alchol abuse, she also she to work in Robinson the paper bag printing factory and the one on west st before it got turned into tescos and flats

I was in technical services for Mardons in midsomer Norton before my BI. I knew people who used to work for Robinsons.
