It's hard not to be synical that they just refuse and let you press for an appeal.
Do they do things for a reaction even though they seem unaware of the full effects this has on people.
Yes thee will always be the ones the try it on but surely they will not have medical back up.
Do they think they are better than all the consultants and specialists. It makes you wonder.
I know it easy to say but try and keep calm....For now. Be yourself in the appeal don't try and appear better than you are. This sounds simple but if you are like me I try to fit in....Yes it's wrong but it's how I cope.
You are obviously going to take it further - but I would suggest not today, tomorrow or even next week.
Take a week off and then work out whom can help you with an appeal - CAB, MIND or some local group. Give them all your paperwork PIP application, rejection, medical information and let them compose an appeal letter for you.
Appeals have quite a high level of success especially when they are supported by one of the organisations above. They will even do the speaking on your behalf.
Hiya Spidey. You may have seen my last post about the same. For sure there are some lies used. The lie stated in my last refusal was that I could stand on one leg??? How would they know that if in the face to face meeting I had no tests whatsoever done. I called headway of Dudley and had an appointment with a gentleman from CAB. Fingers crossed for both of us. Dave
Sorry you are going through so much stress did they say why exactly they refused you PIP? How do they decide that one person deserves it over another it seems very unfair? Good luck with the apeal x
Good luck. My husband is still on. D.L.A. and I'm waiting for pips application. I'm dreading it as I have to do all the paper work as after a stroke he is no longer able to read or write and has speech and language problems. He was assessed for esa by their doctor and was only able to answer 1 question and he replied to that incorrectly.
