I have thought about that but I don't think I would be able to do that (not full time anyway) because I do the drawings in my own time, when I feel up to it.
I have sold some of my work. I've sold/posted some to people on this forum and I have sold some of my drawings to friends.
I even get my art printed onto greeting cards which I have sold too. I recently sold a batch of 10 cards, 3 different images for £30 :).
I usually sell an original piece for £20 which includes a frame if wanted.
£10 for a print including frame if wanted.
Cards will cost £3 each.
I have drawn all my life. 2001-2008 was when I stopped drawing cos of low confidence and motivation. And 2010was when my art started getting much better as I was being tutored. That is when some people were saying I could sell my work but I had to be a bit careful with what I drew and sell because of copyright laws. I later found a website where Photographers upload there drawings that are copyright free and I can draw and sell them :).
