There are times when I really want to tell our users this as my mind goes blank and sometimes goes in to melt down mode, so I have put them on hold while I try and put myself together:

I think you'll find a key fob or wristband or something on stickman that says something along those lines, I wear my hidden disability badge when I go out now, if people read it I don't need to explain.

Most of my colleagues in my department understand but not the whole organisation (which is a few thousand employees as I work for local government) I did talk to a user who wanted the brightness dimmed on her laptop as she sustained a minor head injury and I mentioned that I fully understand how the feels as I sustained a severe tbi 15 years ago and we were talking for a good 30 minutes about memory issues and how people think your find as they cant see it ect ect

Good that you share , I know it's difficult there just isn't time to go through the whole scenario with everyone, especially not over the phone.
