Yesterday, I was told that in the New Year, I will be given a proper horse to ride, not just Jack, my mechanical one.
It was the first time I have actually got excited sine January 2013! I am with the Riding For Disabled- the RDA, and in Dorset there is only one yard that cater for adults. When I applied there, I was told that the waiting list is too long, so that is why I joined another yard and have been riding Jack!
Before my accident, I used to showjump at 1.45m, and also do dressage and eventing, but since then I have not really wanted to ride again. Who knows what's around the corner for me!

I love horses and visit them at the local stables every week with lots of cuddles and carrots but, in terms of riding, they're an awful long way up ! Thirty years ago maybe. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Really pleased for you m'dear. Just don't let your Neddy take any high-jumps 'til you're properly confident again. x
