My life has improved immeasurably...

My life has improved immeasurably since I threw out all my socks and went to a mega Tesco to buy 30 pairs of identical black socks. All that time I wasted pairing up socks now recaptured. How do you simplify your life?

I buy black socks for my son and grey ones for my husband, no more" these aren't mine", but I buy from primark, even cheaper.xx

We need a good idea's page to keep all these suggestions on. Regarding odd socks I wore 2 different shoes to Headway one week and no one noticed (or were too kind to say) one was my daughter's shoe and a size larger. My suggestion for making life easier is buying a bag of frozen chopped onions in Iceland. No more doing battle with an uncooperative right hand, a sharp knife and a round object. No half an onion dying in the back of the fridge.

Like this one, sick of smelly hands after preparing onions, I buy all sorts ofpreprepared vegetables now, life's too difficult as it is, to spend all that time preparing, I've earned the

If I wear an unmatched pair I simply tell people I have another pair just like them at home...

Many years ago my wife used to fume about the effort required to hunt down and then pair my socks and also the huge bag of "odd" socks with no partner.

All was calm until most blokes I got the message wrong over the shirts :-) She had a major rant about the washing the family create especially my office shirts and how "did I know how tedious it was ironing white shirt after white week in week out". When I bought a load of different coloured shirts to break up the monotony somehow she didn't appreciate it - no pleasing some people :-)

My husband irons his own shirts and always has, I don't take enough care !!! He used to do his own ironing before we got together so just continued, great, he's even taught my son, from my previous marriage, and is about to do the same for our son before he goes off to Uni.

Wonderful

That's a great idea, *if* they are identical. My lovely husband has loads and loads of pairs of navy-blue socks, which are *almost* identical, but not quite. They drive me mad! I always go for coloured splashes on mine, so I know which sock pairs with which.

Chuck them out! Buy 30 identical pairs. Madness will disappear.
