Had mixed advice from doctors - some say yes to flying others say no. Been feeling sick/nauseas since the accident. Getting slight headaches, restlessness, feeling anxious.

I recently slipped and hit my head on a wall, which is classed as a minor injury, I have a long-haul flight booked this week - any advice?
Which doctors have you seen? Sounds like it might be a bit of a ordeal the flight though possibly worth it? If your going somewhere nice?
You would better getting it. In a concise written letter from your doctor as if your insurance company who are doing your travel insurance may refuse to meet any claim you make against them if you take unwell on your holiday I hope this helps take care
Thanks for your replies. Would be going from UK to US, postponed flight and resting up now. Have spoken to a range of doctors at the hospital at the time of the incident and afterwards, also 2 GPs both with mixed opinions. No one has given me a 'fit for fly' certificate as yet...
Yes go to your local hospital for a X ray you might get anmesia if it is not attended too, see what your X ray results show and if the hospital doctor says you have a mild concusion i suggest you quit flying for at least until your symptoms have gone or untill you feel yourself.
Why don't you try cruising instead of flying as the ship has a hospital on board with any medical treatment you may need at all. As you are sailing along to get to your destination to the US in your case, you can then you can get your holiday at the same time as well as travel to other countries as an added bonus. It's great for me as I take a lot of medication and get spasms etc.
