Two weeks ago, we had the sentencing at court, I've now had lots of questions answered by the police and going through the file they have put together. I now have a clear picture of what actually happened. The anger will always be there and I will never accept the devastation this has caused, but im determined not to let this ruin our life's any longer. It was also confirmed that the Great North Air Ambulance saved Jack and Sophie,s life's, how can i ever pay them back, never, what a great job they do xx

I think these dedicated people are satisfied by the knowledge that they've done what they set out to do.........save lives. That, I imagine, is their true reward.

Sometimes I think it is like a jigsaw. Another piece sorted because you know what really happened not just from your jumbled memories but the police reports the witness statements. I think that all of the emergency services are amazing and we are very lucky to have the air ambulances and the search and rescue helicopter. xx

I needed to know what happened, and what the witnesses saw, the most important witness came through very late, and got in touch with me through face book, his statement was paramount to the case. All the emergency services played a massive part and will be forever grateful xx

It is just the shame that whichever party is in Government does not make the Air Ambulance Services a statutory provision......!!!!!
