Advice on interpreting recent Iron Study results

Hello ,

I have received the following test results today for iron studies and hoping someone on here can help interpret them please. My GP has informed me that my iron levels are unclear as to whether I have iron overload and thinks it prudent to get another blood test (HFE) just to make sure there is no hereditary problem such as haemochromotosis? Just wondering what I might expect moving forwards with all of this.

Thank you in advance.

Serum TIBC 43 umol/L (45-72) Below low reference limit

Serum iron levels 27.2 umol/L (11-25) Above high reference limit

Transferrin satay ration index 63% (15-45) Above high reference limit. Fasting transferrin >45% suggests overload

Serum unsaturated iron binding capacity 16 umol/L
