It would seem that if you are coeliac you are at risk of IBD, but not the other way round.
Yes it is possible to have Ibs as well I have crohns and have had a bowel resection but now the consultant says I have Ibs as well I am on amitryptiline and they stop the urgency but I still after 20years of bowel problems have to watch what I eat its ongoing but I manage but I can't wait for the day when I can just take a tablet and eat what I like
