I just had for the first time pizza hut and was gluten free. Finally....
I know its not very healthy, but once in a while I allow myself some treats!
And I may be picky with my food, but this was very tasty! x

This is great news ( not tat we have pizza hut around me ) but on trip to london etc.
i used to love going to pizza hut.......and now I can,
Thank you for this post, fab news.
brill news am going away for weekend so a treat yea at last x
My hubby discovered that they finally started GF pizza, while he was researching online for restaurant options for me.
At the moment GF pizza is included in the majority of pizza hut restaurants (you can ring and have it take away too), but not in the hut places where you can call and have it delivered at home.
It is a good thing to ring before you go to check availability, as we wanted to go last week but the GF pizza was sold out (!), so we had it last night. The lady from pizza hut mentioned that the positive response was amazing for GF pizza, thats why they had run out!!! x
Had one last week, it was great. I had a Ham and Pineapple pizza, haven't had one in years. It was gorgeous, even came with my own pizza cutter and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, checking that other things we had ordered were gluten free as well. Domino pizza are starting having gluten free pizza on the menu next month as well. Looking forward to trying that.
Nice!!! Cant wait for Dominos pizza too, last night when I had pizza after so long it was like I was in heaven! lol
Great News, never been able to go as a family,
My son is a Manager at Pizza Hut and we are filling the restaurants he was amazed at the response! Apparently we keep telling him all our life stories! Keep on going he is thrilled at our response!
For those of you who can't get to a Pizza Hut, Juvela and DS pizza bases are really good! Plenty of fresh mozarella balls, onion, mushrooms, parma ham, tomato base and sliced tomatoes - brill!
Boyfriend brought me my GF pizza home from Pizza Hut,even just seeing it in the pizza take-out box made me smile
On the face of it............good news. But how do you know that there is no cross contamination in the Pizza oven and or with use of cooking utensils etc???
Be wary!
Yes this is true, but for me it was worth the risk (anything for a pizza lol). And it was fine, no problems at all.
Such large company wouldnt risk their reputation if they were not ready for the GF requirements. Or at least I think they wouldnt
I had my second GF pizza on Friday night as a half term treat.
During the night I had a very mild, but very real gluten reaction. I tend to get aching back (at waist) and hip joints when I've been glutened and had this reaction. I also went to the loo twice in the night, loose but no diarrhea. I couldn't get comfortable in bed for the need to stretch the ache out of me.
Make of this what you will - I am like the proverbial canary in the mine. If there is a chance to react I will. I would say there had been some element of cross contamination. Everything else I had eaten for days had been made at home from scratch.
I am dropping off a letter to Pizza Hut tomorrow. It's not the worst reaction I've ever had. I think I would give them one more try as the first one was great, no problems. Still, I think they need to know when they've not been as clean as needed.
I had the GF pizza at Prezzo the other day, I felt like I was having a proper pizza, it was lovely.
This is great news, but I am noticing that none of you appear to be making your own pizza's. The DS pizza base is good and the sainsbury's one is great, as I am also lactose intolerant this is great for me as I could not live without my pizza.
I made my own pizza base from a recipe on the Doves Farm flour packet and was surprised at just how easy it was & how good the results were. My non-GF husband & son wolfed it down too & I would definitely make it again.
the GF/WF Pizza at Pizza Hut is rather nice, nicest one I have had so far, shame it contains yeast. One of the critical ingredients that a lot of the GF/WF foods contain.
I make my own pizza with the Doves Farm recipe too, love it! Now and then (Friday nights!) it's nice to come home and flake in front of a film with a ready meal or take-away though!
I tried the Sainsbury FreeFrom pizza last Friday. Bleughgh! It was like eating greasy cardboard.
