Mucosal junction 40 cm from incisors . Celiac disease. Abdominal pain.on gluten free diet.

Macroscopic description of specimen

Duedonal biopsy: two pieces of tan tissue up to 3 mm

Histology report

These are fragments of duodenal mucosa with focal cryp hyperplasia. There is no evidence of Giardia, villous atrophy, increased intaepithelial lymphocytes, significant inflammatio,dysphasia or malignancy.

Summary: duodenal mucosa- the features would indicate there has been a good histological response to GF diet

Your Vit D is low. Reference is

<25 severe

25-50 low

50-75

75-100 sufficient

100-125 good

Ask your doc for Adcal to up your D3, which is the one the body can't process and absorb well. And get out in the lovely sun!
