Hi. It’s been 3 months since I started my GF diet, some symptoms improved but I started to pay more attention to my digestive issues, like checking my stool nonstop, every little gas or bubbling in my stomach make me worry. Although I’ve been having GI symptoms all my life, since I’ve had chronic gastrities. Before I used to take antacid like Lansaprosole and was feeling better after. It’s been 10 days since we came back from London and I do have feeling of not emptying bowel all the time. Did anyone else have the same feeling and did it pass?
Thank you,
Saba

Yes, I’ve certainly had that feeling. It did go away once I sorted out my diet, but it took several months. If you have been reliant on medicines to regulate your bowel movements, it will take time for your body to go back to normal once you have stopped taking them.
If you are interested in how your insides work, I recommend reading “Gut” by Guilia Enders.
I’ve never had it before. It just started 3 months after GF diet. Could it be related to my nerve system? I can’t stop thinking about my celiac and can’t enjoy my life. Living all the time in fears:(((
I used to take Xanax whenever I was very anxious but I can’t take it now cause it has gluten . It’s been 3 days since I’ve have extreme fears about my health issues. I keep thinking what if celiac already caused cancer in me. I had my blood work yesterday first time after diagnose which was 3 months ago ,can’t stop thinking what if it’s gonna be worse. Can I ask what was your marsh score and how long did it take to heal? My GI wanted me to do my repeat endoscopy in 3 months but dietitian said that would be too early. I was fine all of the sudden I feel again bubbling in my stomach, not emptying my bowel completely like it’s with me all day. I really don’t know what to do,so anxious and hysterical right now(((((
