My coeliac is mainly a skin problem (Dermatitis Herpetiformas). Would using wheat bags cause me more problems?

Only if you ingest the contents. Coeliac triggered via gut reaction/ingestion. Gluten can not be absorbed through the skin. Your skin reaction for coeliac will be triggered by ingestion of gluten, and not external exposure. Personally I would avoid wheatbags in general if you have coeliac as it's all about minimising cross-contamination risk. A hot water bottle is a safer bet.

When you suffer from DH, contact with wheat can be a problem. I have had breakouts literally standing at the counter of a Jersey Mike's waiting for my GF sandwich. I have also had breakouts while in the car when my husband brought home a cake. So, yes, contact can be a problem.

Thank you for your reply's, I wasn't sure if it could be absorbed through the skin. Take care and keep safe.
