Mine came back normal too, however still suffering when I eat wheat, therfore cut it out completely. My hives and itchy rash has gone. Plus had to give up dairy too as my skin becomes dry and sensitive when I consume both. However have lost a lot of weight though.

Wishing you all the best.

Hi

I have problems with wheat, even small amounts, the bt 's don't always show the picture. My dietician diagnosed me on my food/symptom diary. I would give up all grains (corn, rice and gluten) and dairy and see if that helps asthma and eczema too. I did that in January and all my symptoms settled.

I did have positive result for blood test and am still getting caught out about a year later. Rang Westons cider today as have reacted a number of times to old Rosie, they tell me that although they use wheat derived glucose syrup in most of their ciders, they consider that the fermentation process should remove any wheat traces. Not enough though.

Today I have contacted 3 manufacturers, Westons, Tescos who tell me that almost all tinned tomatoes contain wheat derived citric acid, and Cafe Nero re their gluten free products for which they do not display an ingredients list.

I find that when I ring, provided I am clear that I am not complaining, but just want info, that customer service departments are really helpful.

Are you diagnosed as Hashi's? A lot of people on the thyroid forum say that going off gluten helps. And around 35 per cent of those with Hashi's also have autoimmune gastritis, which I suspect might mean gluten is hard to tolerate.

Have you tested for celiac?

If you have, have you tried a complete exclusion diet and seen if it helps?
