Hi Pretender, Does this mean all coeliacs are 30% disabled. I was wondering if one could claim disability for this condition as it's been a real big problem for me over the years, plus I do have the skin condition that goes with coeliacs disease. I've now got a condition called DISH in my spin for which the consultant has said has been caused through my gluten free diet.
The 30% disability is the result of an Industrial Injury not because of the coeliac disease, The comment re impaired abdominal function is from a First-Tier Appeal Tribunal for the injury. It is not known why Coeliac Disease is triggered and is assumed that some bodily trauma may be the cause. What is DISH? and how is it connected to CD.
It's a problem in the spin look like candle wax. The condition is very painful it's called dish for short, if you google Dish Bone problem this will tell you about the condition can be brought on by dietary .
Hi Pretender, I have osteoporosis in my spine, my consultant said having CD hasn't helped with this condition. The DISH problem was only diagnosed after I had an X-RAY on my back as I was in so much pain.
This condition has many add on's, I have Osteoporosis/osteopenia (dexa scans) Osteoarthritis (Tribunal doctor) Degenerative disease of the spine and both hips with Lytic Lesions on the right hip (bone scan) Opacity on my left lung (CT scan X 2, CT guided biopsy, PET scan) nothing found. impaired nasal/breathing function.
