Does anyone know if 'Milo' is GF or suffered by drinking it? I've emailed Nestle and never had the courtesy of a reply!

Hi I had never heard of this drink before your post, just looked it up and the container looks American, it says it is a malted milk drink therefore I think that it must contain gluten as we cannot eat malt. I would just stick to cocoa.

Milo is made from malted barley and therefore is not safe for you to drink. Here is a link to more gluten free info if you require it ... deglutenous.com/being-glute...
In Australia where an allergen must be declared the label states made from Barley therefore not gluten free. Do not touch it if you are coeliac.

had it in SA and it is not gluten free,
many many years ago at boarding school we used to eat the granules on teaspoons, ( before I knew I was coeliac) actually I didn't like it, sometimes I wonder if our likes are influenced by what we should and shouldn't eat, ...just a thought as most of the foods I dislike have gluten
