Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with glaucoma last year and was originally prescribed latanaprost eyedrops. At my last appointment which was with the consultant, I was informed that these were not working and he gave me some brinzolamide followed up with a prescription for dorzolamde. I am now experiencing excessive saliva/drooling and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this? It could be completely unrelated of course!

Hi. I personally have not heard of people experiencing drooling when using brinzolamide. I have had a look in the patient information leaflet and there's not much there to indicate this as a potential side effect, however it could still be related to the eye drops. If it persists and becomes too difficult to deal with, then I would advise calling the eye secretary at the hospital to request a change of drops.
