Been using Brinzolomide for eight years or longer along with Travoprost. No side effects.

I have been using brinzolamide/timolol (brand name Azarga) for 11years now, along with Bimatoprost. The only side effect I have noticed is that sometimes I need to use dry eye drops.

I had awful headaches when I first started the drops and was advised by pharmacist (who said common side effect) to either stop taking or reduce dose and contact my eye specialist - in the end I reduced the dose and persevered - the headaches have gone but took about a month and I’m still on the reduced dose - if in any doubt contact your GP or specialist x

effects on the leaflet they can frighten you !

Been on Brinzolamide three times day. No headaches. Are you putting eye drops in lower lid or by putting your head back?

Hi. Putting them in lower lid (I think) then

putting my fingers in tear ducts to prevent them

going in blood stream. I’ve only just started using

them but read the side effects (which I shouldn’t

do as it mentions chest pain, palpatations etc

which bothered me. Thank you for replying !

I had very sore eyes when I first started using Brinzolomide. This eased after a few weeks and now I’m ok with them.
