Use of latanoprost and azarga.

I've been on latanoprost since 2017. Two recent eye pressure tests showed a fluctuation in daytime up to 25 in one eye. The opthalmologist changed the prescription to Azarga, taken morning and night. I still have unused bottles of Latanoprost. Can l use latanoprost at night and Azarga in the morning? I hate to waste medicines and would later switch to only Azarga, night and day.

Hello. If your drops have been changed and you have been told to stop using the latanoprost, please follow the instructions given to you by your ophthalmologist and stop using the drops.

You will need to take them to your local pharmacist to dispose of.

And remember that all these eye drops have a limited shelf life So I would imagine your latanoprost will soon expire.

Azarga is normally used twice a day, 12 hours apart. I have been on it for absoulte years. you should use the drops as directed by a professional.
